Last Fall I had a wonderful opportunity to tag along at my friend Jake from NODO Photography. I love second shooting with Jake. It is always lots of fun and an adventure (hence my parking ticket!!) We shot at The Society Room of Hartford, which was my first time shooting there. Cool place–I loved it! The couple was relaxed and fun and let Jake do his thing. All in all It was an very full day of non stop fun!
This was my take on the day…
The couple did a first look…I was shooting from the bushes…much like Paparazzi, as guests from weddings usually call me!
When Jake was shooting formals I noticed this patch of grass down below. I did NOT like hanging over the railing to get this, in fear of me dropping my camera, but I had to in order to get the shot!
In the limo on the way to the ceremony site
The Society Room is so grand yet warm!
The ceremony…
While we had a few minutes I was dying to get Meg on the red couch they have there.
They had a great first dance!
The reception was a blast!
I think I caught her off gaurd.
Congrats to the lovely couple and thanks again Jake for having me come along to help you at your wedding!
Happy Tuesday!
Meg
