Q. How many weddings do you book per year?
A. We only book around 20-25 weddings per year, as this insures that each client receives the proper attention to detail, from capture to finish.  We also enjoy photographing our Couture Cuties: Babies and Children, Boudoir, “Day After” and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs through out the year! I only take on weddings in which I feel is a good match. Finding a good fit is just as important as the image quality produced.  

Q. Do  you travel for Weddings?
A. Yes, I am  available for commission throughout the United States as well as Internationally. Please inquire within for custom quotes.


Q. How many photos do you take?
A. When we photograph weddings we do not limit ourselves on the amount of images taken. We take as many images as we need to best tell your wedding story. There isn’t an exact number, as my focus is on quality NOT quantity.



Q. What kind of equipment do you photograph with?
A. Creative Image Collections exclusively uses  Nikon Digital Professional gear.  We have a variety of high end lenses , back up lenses and  cameras. I am  continually investing in new and innovative equipment, to give my clients remarkable image quality. There isn’t a piece of equipment that I skimp on to save money. I don’t shop clearance when it comes to my photography equipment!


Q. Do we get the high resolution files?  (Digital Negatives)
A. Yes, you will receive your PHOTOGRAPHER selected images. When I photograph a wedding I hand select the best images from the day and you will receive those hand edited images on digital media after your wedding date.  It includes all moments of the day, but the best of the best. These are color corrected and tonal enhanced. You are able to use these to print for personal use only.


Q. How do your store the images?

A. Storing the images begins on-site while shooting. My assistant takes the cards I shoot and stores them on a portable hard-drive. After the event, I place both the cards and the portable hard-drive into a fire-proof safe for the car-ride home, just in case! The images are then stored on an external hard-drive on my computer. Two copies are made in addition to that. One hard copy for on-site and one  hard copy for off-site. 3 copies of the files are saved in total. I store them for 1 year this way. The images  are saved for 5 years after your event date in STUDIO ONLY  after you have received your album and our working relationship has been completed. After the 5 years, the disc copies are available for  purchase. They will not be stored with Creative Image Collections after the 5  year mark. It is your responsibility to contact Creative Image Collections before the 5 year mark is reached.


Q.  How many images will I receive?
A. This answer depends on the type of coverage you have selected for your wedding day or special event. I never have a “cut off” number in my head. If the image is superb it will not be deleted just because I have approached the “cut off” number. The estimated number is roughly 800 images per 8 hour event. However, that number varies as the event may vary.

 

Q. After the wedding how long does it take to see our wedding images?
A. Each image is hand selected and edited to tell the story of your wedding day. This process can take anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks. We sift through MANY images and edit them down, color correct, tonal enhance, and then on select images enhance with my “secret recipe”. This is a very time consuming and involved process. The days of dropping the film off at the lab on Mondays and picking up on Fridays are pretty much a thing of the past!


 

Q. How do we view our wedding images?
A. All of your images are posted on a personal password protected online gallery. This gallery can be shared with friends and family across the globe. This unique service allows you the freedom to view your files in the comfort of your own home when ever you choose.  This personal gallery will stay on line for one year.  If your gallery needs to be extended, there will be a fee for additional time.

 

Q. How long does it take to receive my prints and album?
A. All of our albums and coffee table books are custom designed from scratch, inside and out, as well as hand-crafted and library bound. I take great pride in my work and wouldn’t think of putting your photographs in anything but top of the line, custom designed, hand-crafted albums. These books are designed and built to last a lifetime, and are among the best albums available in the industry and world-wide.  They can take approximately 6 months to complete. We process orders on a first come first serve basis. When we receive the orders we prioritize them in the order in which they are received. The length of time this takes can also depend on how long you take to submit your revisions.   Fine-art Library Bound Proof Books take up to 12 weeks approximately. Boxed Proofs takes 8 weeks approximately from when you recieve your on-line gallery. Prints have a 2-3 week turn around time. In our studio we do not drop ship any items. We believe in quality control and like to oversee everything coming in and going out to assure you receive a top notch product and presentation.
