It was a HOT summer day, in a beautiful New England church in Fairfield that turned into an evening of fun!


We started off at Allison’s parent’s home in Easton. The first thing I noticed when I pulled in the driveway was this HUGE living room window and I knew this was going to be a great day! )I was equally excited about Allison and Joe coming together as one of course…but the window lighting to go with it was the icing on the cake!) So whoever built their parent’s house…THANK YOU!

It was a beautiful setting for an even more beautiful wedding. What a party! I always feel very honored to be part of a wedding, but there is just something about backyard weddings that get me. I love the relaxed feel it provides. I actually met with Jordana and Nick a few days before the wedding at the house so to see it transformed and come to life was just amazing!

What a beautiful venue and I am happy to say I will be back there again very soon to photograph another wedding! It was a beautiful and fun day working with the industries leading vendors and I it was such a pleasure working with not only Amanda and Kyle, but also the lovely ladies from Sixpence For Your Shoe, Talia and Lindsay, dd Nickel for make up and hair and of course The White Dress by the Shore, where Amanda got all her bridesmaids dresses and wedding gown.

Rob likes cigars and so they had the CT Cigar Company come and provide the guests with a wide range of cigars! I loved these guys! They were super nice to the guests and really did a fantastic job, not to mention the roller comes in authentic Cuban attire!

I often get asked by prospective brides and grooms what it is about photographing that I like most. My answer is always, although I LOVE photographing all those shoes and intricately thought out details of the day, my most fulfilling is when I am completely 100% in the moment and able to capture that on film for people to remember for years to come. How could you put a price tag on that?! Hands down…that is what keeps me going and shooting! There isn’t anything like it.
