I love these two! They have the most awesome story of how they came to be! They truly have waited for the right time to come together in their lives and trusted in life’s process to bring them together…FINALLY!!! I had so much fun getting to know both Katie and Tom and learning about how they met, got together and scored their AWESOME Hoboken New Jersey apartment with views of the NYC skyline like you wouldn’t believe. I would never want to move if I lived there! Maybe I will just move in with them! ;o)

Anyway…they truly are meant to be and life just fell into place for them…as love can do sometimes for people!

We started off doing what they like to do together…hanging at home enjoying some wine!

This past weekend I photographed Lisa & Joe’s Engagement Session up in New Milford, CT. They are getting married in less than two weeks at Fox Hill Inn in Brookfield! Ahhhhhhh! So close!

I knew right off the bat these guys were going to be both fun & easy to photograph! They have such a  strong chemistry & it shows! I loved hanging with them & getting to know them better!  Not to mention we were blessed with some awesome light for our shoot! That always is a plus in my book!

Sara and Jesse are getting hitched this Sunday and we did their engagement shoot in New York City, in Brooklyn to be exact, since this is where they reside! They are such a really great couple and are anything but boring! The two of them together are a really great match and it shows!

We started down at the bridge and they practiced their first dance moves. I was impressed because Jesse just the day before the session participated in a triathlon. I would be on the couch the next day having severe pain, but he was out by the bridge dancing with his soon to be wife!

We took a stroll around the are by the bridge and stopped when we felt like it. I love that because you never know where you find great shots! It could be just around the corner and where you least expect it!

They took us to a place where key lime pie lovers like me are in heaven. Swingles, are these dark chocolate covered mini frozen key lime pies on a stick and they were oh so yummy! When Sara mentioned she wanted to go here during the session had no qualms about it! I am a HUGE key lime pie lover!

It was rainy…very very rainy…and we took the chance and photographed the shoot anyhow. Sara bought this little frog umbrella to the shoot and I LOVED it! So cute! Any guy that is down for a few frog shots (with absolutely NO complaining) is a keeper!

Then we went this pier that and the rain just wasn’t letting up…so we snuck into the old rusted subway cars they had there.

Angelica and Manny are getting married this November at the Inn at Longshore in Westport, CT! I am very excited to be photographing their wedding as I know it will be an affair to remember, with details galore! These two are a lot of fun and have a little edge which I love! Love me some edgey-ness! We did the first part of their Engagement session at Angelica’s parent’s house then headed to Georgetown for some fun, more urban-y pics! Loved this session!

We ended up at this house I have always driven by that has a windy staircase. Yes, we trespassed, but what else is new in my life?! I never pictured this image when I drove by staring at this house, but this was the one image that I happened to ‘find’ and ended up liking!

Enjoy and I am off to Portland, Maine for a personal vacation tomorrow until next Monday! I will not be answering email/phone messages until I get back on Monday. I will contact everyone as soon as I possibly can when I return! In the meantime I will be enjoying some relaxation and some shutter clicking with my new camera so expect a few travel pics when I get back!
