Meet little guy Rhys! He’s such a handsome little one! I got to spend some time with him and I always LOVE my newborn sessions for the simple reason that I am very hands on and get to soothe them. I always sneak a kiss in at some point in the session too! How can I not?! Well…I got some great stuff of Rhys, and as usual, I have to thank mom and dad, Angela and Ron, for great conversation during the shoot! I always enjoy chatting with mom and dad during the shoot as much as I love shooting!

I had the most wonderful opportunity to photograph a very special reunion between a mother and her son that she gave up for adoption when he was a newborn. One of my past client’s hired me to photograph their first time seeing each other ever in Bradley International Airport a couple weeks ago. As soon as I found out Carrie wanted me to photograph her husband, Gregg, meeting his mom, Sue,  for the very first time ever, I nearly jumped out of my seat! What an absolute honor to photograph such a moment! Seriously a once in a lifetime moment that can never be repeated and this is exactly why I love the work that I do and have such a strong passion for creating images in life for people to keep for generations. Priceless!

Gregg found his mom Sue on FaceBook of all places! Gosh, how much easier things have become to reconnect with people in our lives with modern technology at our fingertips. Sue traveled up from Florida a couple weeks ago to spend a long weekend with Gregg, Carrie and little Zoey! Must have been a blast!

Gregg made a really cute sign so his mom would know who he was! So perfect!

Christine and Jared got married in April at the beautiful Saltwater Farm Vineyard in Stonington, CT. It’s such an awesome venue and I always love working there and finally got to meet Merrily! Yay! Always exciting to put a face with the names of those that I have connected with via email for months on end!

I started my day off with Jared and the guys at the hotel up the road! It’s always so fun to hang out with the guys before hand. Getting ready for them includes things like ironing, talking about tactics on how to get out of ironing, and lots of laughs! Always fun times! Christine and Jared have a great connection and their day was so much fun to share with them. I was honored to photograph it for them and their families!
