Back in July I shot an awesome engagement session in New York City with Michele and JP, who are getting married later this fall! They have been together for a decade (or more…I think) and they are so cute together! Michele and JP’s relationship for quite some time has included NYC, one way or another, and it was important to them to incorporate that into their shoot! I of course, LOVE going to NYC and will jump at the chance to do so whenever possible. Any little excuse I have to go there and I am on a train!
So speaking of trains…We first met at Grand Central which is where they would meet up to see each other when they first started dating!
There was a Nelson Mandela exhibit at Grand Central at the time so I figured it would be cool to include that in a couple shots…
using the ones that I thought would be appropriate for an engagement session!
Listen…one of the best recipe ingredients for any relationship!
We took a ride on the Subway…
and walked the streets of Manhatten!
waiting for our ride to arrive…
Empire State Building in the background…
These guys were so much fun…
Forgot to mention originally, in case you were wondering, this is Washington Square Park…and yes, they got into the water fountain!!! So cool! (literally)
after the shoot My boyfriend, Matt, and I met up with my brother Chris, who works at Moxie Pictures in the City, to enjoy some rooftop access, food, a beer and fun!
This is Matt…who I know will kill me for putting this pic up here! ;o) He’s handsome and a very good assistant!
Love this shot of my brother lighting up his smoke!
the view from the roof…I love the water towers there. I felt like I was in Mary Poppins when he was up on the roof dancing and singing about cleaning chimney’s!
I just like the colors and patterns that one street vendor had set up for selling his ties…
Thanks so much Michele and JP and I am SOOOOO excited about your wedding this October!!!
Happy Monday!
