I shot Eileen and John’s wedding at the Nassau County Museum of Art and it was such a wonderful day filled with lots of love and eclectic decor and details! Otherwise known as a photographer’s dream come true! It was such an honor to be there to photograph Eileen and John’s wedding day and I have a ton to share…
Starting with Shoes of course…
and her dress which was adorned with beautiful lace with frayed edges…LOVED it! Totally suited Eileen’s personality and style!
Some getting ready shots with available, window lighting. There wasn’t much light to work with since it was a rainy day!
The flower girl! How cute! As I photographed her I realized she had her shoes on the wrong feet but I didn’t have the heart to tell her!
Sarah from Spruce in New York City did a fantastic job with the florals! Absolutely LOVED the details and the vibrant colors!
Just moments before walking down the aisle with her father…
Nassau County Museum of Art is such a cool place to shoot a wedding. We had full access to all the rooms in the museum!
They shared a very classic first dance together…I loved it!
Congrats to Eileen and John!
Waiting in the wings to blog are three weddings, three engagement sessions and one portrait session! Tis the season!
;o)
Happy Tuesday!

Andrea and Nick’s wedding that I photographed back in May is featured on The Wedding Chicks blog. I am so happy since they had put so much time and effort into creating their beautiful day! Yeah Andrea and Nick!
Check it out by clicking HERE
You can check out their whole wedding post on our blog from a while back by clicking HERE.
Enjoy and have a happy and beautiful Sunday!
I had the opportunity to shoot a fun engagement session with Amanda and Dan in West Hartford a few weeks ago! We had some beautiful light to work with on our rural location and then changed it up a bit to do some urban stuff in downtown West Hartford, which I was impressed with! I have never been!
meet Amanda and in some beautiful lighting…
On our stroll through the downtown area we stopped at a little coffee shop that I guess they go to at times. I loved the big images they had on the walls and wanted to use them in the photographs.
In front of the Crate and Barrel which is where they are registered!
Can’t wait for the wedding in a couple weeks!
Happy Wednesday to all!

Yikes! That is the first thing I can say when looking at my parent’s wedding album. They were married over 30 years ago and it is so sad for me to look at this book in shambles. I remember thumbing through it when I was little thinking it was the coolest thing in the world. Perhaps because I was a true girly- girl at heart! The idea of two people falling in love and choosing to commit to each other through life’s journey is a beautiful thing. How saddening to have it displayed in a book that would never have possibly made it through life’s journey with them. My parent’s album never stood the chance against the test of time. That is why I am loving the quality of the books that I offer to my clients today. I always said from the get-go when starting my business that I didn’t care how much the albums I was going to be offering would cost. It shouldn’t be about the cost when I am presenting to my couples a book full of valued memories, from one of the most important days of their lives, for them to share for generations and generations. I wouldn’t feel right in offering a product that is “less than” just to save a few bucks.
Here are a few pictures I shot of my Mom and Dad’s wedding album. My mom watched as I photographed her book and as I told her my intentions of blogging about her album, I had a fear of her disapproval! Although she had a great respect for her marriage to my father, her response was “It’s a piece of crap” . So I took that as a go-ahead in blogging about it! ;o)
This was a pleather album, with a plastic film cover and the inscription of “Our Wedding” on the front cover! Not the most terrible thing that could happen to you in life, but certainly not the best!
Not one page is bound in the book anymore. They are all just loosely stuffed inside the separated cover.
This is St. Mary’s Church on the Greenwich Avenue, which was where my mom grew up. It is still a beautiful church and looks just about the same as it did over 30 years ago.
I hope you all have a Happy Friday and a wonderful weekend!
More to share soon!

Haven’t blogged much on my kids lately so just a small post on the cuties I enjoy my free time with!
Nina doesn’t often let me do much with her hair. For me to see her in pig-tails is BIG Do-ins! ;o) This is her with her newest favorite thing…the pink puppy princess!
This is all I got from my son that day…scary monster face and voice. I don’t ask questions.
Happy Thursday!
