They met at a party they both weren’t up to going to. Sue, dressed in a swanky sweater, caught Jeremy’s eye. The rest is history.
Tuesday I made the drive to Waterford CT and shot Sue and Jeremy’s engagement shoot at Harkness Memorial Park. We walked the grounds and got some seriously cool shots…They were naturals in front of the camera and I let them do their thing, because they do it well!

Since Jeremy is a landscape designer, we had to hang out in the Japanese Maples that were aged a hundred years old…pretty cool!
These two are beach people. So since we had it all at Harkness Park, we headed down to the shore for some fun shots!!!
Jeremy proposed to Sue on a beach with his 8 year old daughter by presenting her with this piece of driftwood! So cute!
Sue had sent me an email asking if I thought it would be a good idea to take pics on Jeremy’s family’s sail boat, “Fairly Go”, up in New London CT. I thought it was the best idea yet for an engagement shoot!
It did get a bit drizzly on the boat, but Jeremy was well equipped to man the ship in the rain!

Just kidding…I was only pretending to know what I was doing, which is why I thought is was best to put the life preserver on!
