I got a bunch of repsonses to my needing a model for a shoot I am doing in Feb/March of 2008. I have found a willing and cute couple to help me out for that shoot and they have been contacted with all the necessary details for the moment. But I encourage you to send me your info along with a picture of you (mainly looking for a couple) as I will be doing 5 or 6 shoots similar to this through out the year. I am looking for specific qualities of people for specific shoots and it is really just based on history in itself, not perfect beautiful people. The scoop is I will be doing this as an on-going project for the 2008 year, in between all my other jobs, weddings/portrait commissions. So basically in my spare-time, even though I don’t have any.
Each shoot will need two models, one man – one woman.
They will receive the DVD files
They will receive hair (wig) makeup and a wordrobe will be provided for the shoot.
They will also get lunch on me! I love food! Nearly everything I do involves eating food. Yum!
It started out with just a simple thought about an idea I had for one of my upcoming shoots, and I have been inspired by a past shoot of mine. All that I do starts out SIMPLE…but ends up being completely involved, time consuming, and money draining. But I am excited about doing this. I can’t give too many details…As the year unfolds – so will the secret shoots. My intent is to be constantly shooting and defining my style, along with hoaning my craft and off camera lighting skills. So it will be anything but easy street to complete, but so rewarding and I can’t wait to get started. I am maybe planning on putting together a small coffee table book of all my hard work through out the year…and possibly having a show. Yipeeeeeeee!

I love when stuff like this happens in life. We are having a tiny bit of necessary work done on our house. It is an overhang below our kitchen, which was added onto our house way back in the late 50’s or early 60’s. When opening up the overhang to put new insulation in it, our very kind friend Kenny, who does some random construction on our home, found this with my husband! A Schaefer beer can from way back when. I love old stuff and it really makes me wonder…who drank from this can?
Check out the link I provided to see other old Beer advertisements…click here!
This is a shot I took and I did some research and added in some slogans of their’s from an old advertisement! Too funny the way they marketed back in the good ol’e days!
Here’s Kenny, who was working on our house and found the beer can! Of course there was no beer in the can!
I am keeping this to use as a prop for some personal work I am doing in the upcoming months! So cool!
Hi There…Need a Model again. Every couple of months I do a little shoot that isn’t a paying shoot, but something that I can really dig my teeth into and get creative with. I did a few trash the dress shoots for some girls this fall and now will be looking to do something a tad bit offbeat for the winter. The shoot will include probably a guy and a girl, if I can find “a couple” willing that is. I am not saying what exactly it is until the right one comes forth! But it will be so much fun and I can’t wait! I will give you a hint. It is sometimes said that “what goes around comes around” and this lies true with my theme! I don’t think you will guess! This is something I am planning on doing in February/March and hopefully that will give you plenty of time to mark your calendar if you want to do it or pass on the info to someone else who would do it.
So short and sweet…
need model or two (man and woman)
February/March
It is said that what goes around comes around and this lies true with my theme!
You will get the files on DVD and hair (or a wig ;o) and makeup done! Yippppeeee!
It involves a really cool wordrobe too! Can’t beat that!
Meet Hermie…our new Pet! He is a cute little hermit crab. It was an impulse thing at the pet store one day and boy am I happy we splurged! For $28 bucks we came back with a hermit crab, which we have informally named Hermie, a tank, some sand-food-spray bottle and a Palm tree. Oh and a log for him to climb on! He is so much fun and now we have something to take care of at home. We plan on teaching our kids how to be responsible and how to be gentle with people and animals. So what better way to learn than with Hermie. If you even go 10 inches near him he hides! He was a tad bit camera shy so he was definitely a challange to photograph!
Meet Hermie…
He is pretty cute hey?
Okay, Vinny and Kristin’s Part II of their blog entry! By the way I believe the name of Vinny’s book that he wrote and published is called ” Looking Deeper” and you can check out his myspace page which has info about it by clicking here. So here is the rest of their pics to blog!
The men…
I find the Meeting House in Newtown CT a tad bit difficult to shoot a full frontal view since the front of the church is only about 20 feet from the road and is covered by a huge tree. So I split up the angles a bit.

They had fun with formals…my kind of people!

It was a pleasure being part of your day guys! Best of luck and lots of love!
