Leah and Corey got married July 21st at Northwest Park in Windsor CT and had their reception at the Sheraton at Bradley Airport. Leah was so relaxed when I showed up and it really set a great mood for the day! Everyone was such a pleasure to be around all day and I had a blast at their reception, which got hoppin’ real quick! It was so much fun!
So here are a few of my favorites from the day…
the rings
a bit of a different take on the shoes…i guess being at an airport inspired me to incorporate some sky!
I love Leah’s expression when she sees her dad for the first time that day!
It got a bit emotional when Corey recited his vows to Leah, and a cow moo’d at just the right moment to lighten things up a bit!
first dance!
Congratulations guys! You were so much fun!

Tagged…So here are 8 random things about me that you might not know!
1. I twiddle my hair! I am a hair twiddler for sure and I am pretty darn good at it! I can put knots in my hair one handed and un-knot them as well. If that’s not talent than I don’t know what is! I will even pull a little bit out of a ponytail so I can twiddle. I think they say this is hereditary and my mom does it too! I do look totally insane, especially when I am driving and twiddling, but I really do most of my best thinking when I am in my zone!
2. I love 80’s tunes alot! I love a good Michael Jackson song and I have been known to put on some home-based dances/concerts in my time! I actually listened to the Thriller tape (not cd!) all the way down to florida and back one year!
3.I talk to myself. It is actually like therapy to me!
4.I used to be painfully shy!
5.I sew! I can make clothes, curtains, pillows, purses, runners, you name it I can make it! It was actually an unknown talenet waiting to unfold when I graduated from college and actually had “Extra Time” to spare! I at one point wanted to be a fashion designer and attend scholl for it in NYC and felt that I was ” in tune” with the trends and all, but my true deep passion is photography! ”SEW” for now it is a hobby!
6.I have a bad habit of playing with my lip and biting it. I think it may be a nervous/tension thing. It makes me look completely insane, but I once I start I can’t stop!
7.I crack my toe when I can’t sleep at night. Over and over and over again!
8.Well, lets see, is that I love the word “CHACHKI” I think it is a funny word, and I love when people refer to things as Chachki! I hate chachki’s though…they are well…”CHACHKI” !
Theresia and James got married on July 14, 2007 at St. Margarite’s in Brookfield, CT. They had a gorgeous sunny day and it was filled with so much love! They get a super-sized blog because me and Theresia go way back! We used to work together! So when I by chance got her email christmas card that read “Love, Theresia and Jim” I thought…oooooh! I have to ask her if she has a new man! And she did…Jim! And better yet, he was her fiance! So sure enough she contacted me when it came time for a photographer and I was a bit bummed that the original date she picked I had booked already! Then suddenly
) she called me the next day to tell me plans have changed and there is a new day! So that brings us to here! The BIG DAY! I am so happy for her and Jim as they are such a nice couple and so easy going too! I could do whatever I wanted…my kind of people!
I will start off with the rings…
She had two pairs of shoes…”one for walking” she said, and the other I am thinking for walking as well…but not any length of distance
) ps…the second pair will be on my website…because it is about 1:30am and I am a tad bit tired and don’t feel like fixing my error! Sorry ;o(
You can tell I LOVED her flowers…I love lilies of all sorts…they are gorgeous!
intro into the reception…
After the cake cutting! I couldn’t resist!
Well, Congrats Thersia and Jim! I was really honored to be able to photograph your wedding! My best wishes to you both to live a life full of love, laughter, and lots of cute kids! ;o)
I shot at Waveny Park in New Canaan for Claudette and Rob’s engagement session! We shot in the early morning for some beautiful light and so we could beat the heat! It ended up being about 89 degrees or so…but we got great light anyway!
Enjoy!
They danced for me…I loved it!
Claudette had on the cutest shoes when I met with her earlier this year to book their wedding. I knew she wouldn’t let me down…so just like I thought she showed up with some cute peep toes! My latest favorite!
)
I love the antique-ee feel to her ring!
